Blake Waste’s residential dumpster rentals include a weight allowance based on container size, ranging from 1.5 tons for a 10-yard dumpster to 3 tons for a 20-yard dumpster. If your debris exceeds the included allowance, an additional per-ton charge applies.

However, certain appliances and materials require special disposal arrangements, including items containing refrigerants. Before you load heavy items you’re unsure about, contact us to confirm what’s accepted and whether additional handling is necessary.

Roll-off dumpsters are heavy, particularly when filled with renovation debris, and can potentially damage some driveway surfaces. If your driveway is newly paved, cracked, or otherwise vulnerable, discuss your concerns with our team before delivery so we can consider the best option for placing your dumpster with these concerns in mind.

Overfilling a dumpster creates safety risks during transportation. Debris should remain below the top edge of the container and within its maximum fill line. If your dumpster is overloaded or too heavy to lift safely, your pickup service may need to be postponed until excess material is removed.

Please note that additional weight will be charged at a rate of $70.00/ton. An additional trip charge may apply if needed. Blake Waste can arrange a container exchange if your project produces more debris than expected.

You don’t necessarily need to be living at the property, but we’ll need accurate delivery instructions, a suitable placement location, and confirmation that access will be available. Let us know about gates, restricted driveways, or other obstacles when scheduling.

Most residential driveways can accommodate a roll-off dumpster, depending on their dimensions, slope, and accessibility.

Our 10-yard and 15-yard dumpsters measure approximately 14 feet long and 7 feet wide, while our 20-yard container measures 16 feet long and 7 feet wide. Blake Waste also provides clean, well-maintained containers with walk-in doors for easier loading.

Blake Waste’s standard residential dumpster rental includes seven days, giving homeowners time to complete cleanouts, remodeling projects, and other waste removal tasks.

If your project takes longer than expected, additional weeks are available for $75 per week. We also offer prompt pickups and dumpster exchanges when you’re ready to move forward with your project.

Blake Waste can haul certain heavy materials, including concrete, dirt, brick, and block, using our 10-yard dumpsters with advance arrangements.

These materials are not accepted as part of a standard mixed-waste load and require special handling due to their weight. Contact us before loading heavy debris so we can explain the appropriate container requirements, weight restrictions, and pricing.

A permit may be necessary if your dumpster will be placed on a public street or another public right-of-way. Requirements depend on your municipality and the proposed placement location.

Dumpsters placed on private property do not usually require a permit. Before scheduling delivery, check local requirements if you plan to place the container anywhere other than your own property.
